Bears Get Active in Colorado’s San Luis Valley
MONTE VISTA, Colo. -- Bear activity is picking up in the San Luis Valley and Colorado Parks and Wildlife reminds residents to help keep bears wild.
"There are bears throughout the valley. We urge everyone to be bear aware so that we can avoid conflicts," said Rick Basagoitia, area wildlife manager for the San Luis Valley.
